Our Team
With over three decades of professional experience, Joan Kistner brings an unparalleled level of organization, maturity and professionalism to her role as Development Coordinator. Joan's experience ranges from accounting and nonprofit to community involvement - ensuring database management and that "eye" for detail, a client-centric approach and an anticipatory lens are at the heart of every client project.
Prior to Winger Marketing, Joan cultivated her analytic skills for 13 years at a Fortune 500 company as she directed a staff of 30 and provided the management and financial reporting requirements on a daily basis. Serving as Director of Constituents Relations for seven years at Saint Ignatius College Prep, Chicago, she became seasoned in various forms of friend-raising, fundraising and communications from direct mail, to events, to online communications by studying how to achieve positive constituent responses from across the Silent Generation, to Baby Boomers, to Gen X, Y and Z (the New Silent Generation).
Volunteering she held leadership roles for an auxiliary of Children's Home and Aid Society, chairing the annual gala; Marketing Committee member for Saint Patrick High School; and Vice President, Executive Board, for University Village Association/Little Italy. No stranger to collaborating for results, Joan reaches across all necessary scopes to achieve comprehensive results and to increase awareness for the need of tuition assistance programs for schools, positive community redevelopment initiatives such as fair and accessible housing, green space and street-scape.
Over the years, she has and continues to enjoy volunteering, serving her community and nonprofit organizations along with golf, photography and family.
